Photography is definitely a passion and I very much enjoy newborns and babies coming into my studio, but sometimes it is a breath of fresh air with I get an older child.

With babies I make lots of goofy faces and noises. I call out to them to get their attention and make them smile. I have to be quick to get the shot before they move on, but with older kids I can pose them and they stay and I can tell them to smile and they do...all on command. It is crazy, lol.

Tyler's mom joined him for a few photos too. They are just so cute together. Just so you know adults can also pose and smile for the camera!

It is so important to capture images of your growing babies. They change so fast when they are babies through elementary ages. Tyler just kid an outdoor session with me this summer and my has he grown in just half a year. It is absolutely astonishing to me how fast these babies change. (check out a couple of his lake pictures at the bottom of this post)
