Ashley Szokola Photography
Fenton, Michigan Newborn Photographer
If you choose Ashley Szokola Photography to capture your baby's newborn or first year photos then you should realize the variety that we strive to achieve.
I want my clients to be able to have a good variety of images to choose from. I don't just do a few sets with lots of different angles. Those are essentially the same photo. I will add bonnets, sleepy caps, and bears into sets along with a couple different angles (usually a full body, close up, and a side view), but you will also get several different sets.
My galleries consist of around 9 to 14 completely different sets. For newborn I will do one outfit and a few sets with that outfit. I will do some table poses. Those are naked or with the outfit. Then some wrapped shots in different props. Above shows a knit sleeper outfit and two sets done with that outfit.
For your wrapped sets I will usually do a more relaxed wrap like the one above and a couple sets with that wrap.
Then I will do what we call a potato wrap. This kind of wrap we can change out the outer wrap to achieve many different looks in different props!
Above is an example of the potato wrap and how I can change the look of a set by changing the color wrap and move into a different prop.
Beanbag poses are also a part of my workflow for a newborn session. These are done on colored fabric and are usually naked. I included a couple different poses and will usually switch out the drop as well.
Sibling and family photos can also add variety into your gallery. I love being able to add those special images to your gallery and I know that they are usually some of my clients favorite images.
If you are having family images I will do a few different poses including a backlit images (black and white) which is one of my favorites!
You will love all the different images that you can choose from if you book a session at Ashley Szokola Photography. These are images you will love and be able to look back on forever. Photographs always increase in value as they age. You will never regret getting your babies photos taken!
