Hi, everyone! This blog post is all about me. The photo above shows my family. I have a wonderful husband and two children (Kinsley and Connor). I post tons of photos of my kids because I love photographing them.

I really wanted lots of photos of my kids as they grew up. Before we had Kinsley my husband got me a nice camera (well the nicest one I had ever owned up until that point) and I knew I was going to take tons of photos of her.

I decided to attempt newborn photos of her. I got a few decent ones...definitely not professional worthy since I had absolutely no training in photographing newborns, but I was happy. Looking back that is one of my major regrets...not getting professional pictures done of Kinsley when she was a newborn, but I didn't make that same mistake. Although I took tons of photos of Kinsley I was only working with a white blanket and I knew when Connor was coming I was going to get photos of him and the two of them together so we went to a professional.

It was there that I really decided that I wanted to learn to take professional cameras since having a fancy camera doesn't give you professional photos. I went to an in person training...online trainings...and practiced, practiced, and practiced some more. I just loved every minute of learning the art of photography.

I still take tons of photos of my kids. I get them in front of the camera as much as I can and they are my models for mini sessions and other things.

Something you might not know about me is I am a full time elementary teacher as well. I have taught for over ten years now and I have been in 1st grade all the way to 5th and everything in-between. I love teaching and photographing newborns and babies. These are my two passions.
