When you book a newborn photography session at Ashley Szokola Photography you will receive a variety of beanbag and prop shots.

I love using a variety or props shots during my newborn sessions. Bowls, buckets, baskets, and chairs give a variety of looks for your images.

I plan out around 5 prop shots within your newborn's session. I go with a few different types of props so you have different types of poses for them.

The papasan chair is one of my favorite newborn thru one year old props. It is just so versatile. I just love the look of the bamboo rings going around behind the baby.

My next favorite prop is my bamboo basket. This prop is gives such a timeless look to a newborn session. It can be more neutral or I can add flowers and greenery to this prop.

The bamboo basket has been used in almost all of my newborn sessions. I just love the looks of it!

My dark wooden bowl is another favorite of mine. I love the thick rim and the darker and moodier images that I get with this bowl.

Another prop that I love is my bucket. This prop is great for posing in different ways. The bucket shot is also a prop that I will repeat for 6 month sessions. This is is fun to see the growth of your baby in the same prop.
